David is the only son of famous American author Susan Sontag; he is a graduate of Princeton University. Mikey Weinstein is an attorney and the founder and president of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, the nation’s foremost watchdog organization to assure members of the US Armed Forces are guaranteed their constitutional religious freedoms and to challenge Pcoercive activities and infiltration of Christian fundamentalist groups in the military. In the past Mikey served as a legal counsel in the Reagan White House. Before devoting himself full time to his foundation, he served as Ross Perot’s General Counsel and Perot Systems Corporation. Over the years he has filed lawsuits against military services and members of the Bush Administration for violating religious freedom in the armed forces and for proselytizing extreme Christian beliefs thereby creating a hostile environment. Mikey is an honor graduate from the US Air Force Academy and received his jurist doctorate through the Air Force law school program. He has received many awards including the 100 Most Influential People in the US Defense by Defense News. Ray McGovern served as an Army intelligence officer and a CIA analyst under 7 presidential administration, from the John F. Kennedy White House to that of George H. W. Bush. Among his duties was preparing the President’s Daily Brief, which was a one-on-one to President Ronald Reagan’s most senior national security advisers. He was responsible for the analysis of Soviet intelligence regarding Vietnam and at one time served as the Assistant National Intelligence Officer for Western Europe. Since retiring from government service, Ray has been a vocal peace activist and journalist and helped create Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity (VIPS) to expose the way intelligence was falsified to “justify” war on Iraq. Ray’s opinion pieces appear in many leading newspapers here and abroad. He holds degrees in theology and philosophy from Fordham University, an MA in Russian History, is a graduate from Harvard Business School and has a certificate of theology from Georgetown University. Dr. Mark Weisbrot is the co-director, with Dean Baker, of the Center for Economic and Policy Research in Washington DC, specializing in domestic and international economic policy and US economic relations with Latin America. He is a frequently contributor on economic policy issues for the Guardian, McClatchy, Brazil’s largest newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo, and other major newspapers. Mark is also the President of Just Foreign Policy, an independent non profit organization dedicated to reforming US foreign policy based upon diplomacy, cooperation and international law. Mark has a PhD in economics from the University of Michigan and co-wrote the screenplay with Tariq Ali for Oliver Stone’s film “South of the Border” – about leftist governments in Latin America. Dr. Jill Stein is a medical physician of internal medicine and a pioneer in advocating environmental health issues in Massachusetts. Is currently the exploratory presidential candidate for the Green Party; many may remember her having been arrested for not being permitted attendance to an Obama-Romney debate and then later her arrest for supporting protestors — bringing food and Halloween candy — against the Keystone pipeline in Texas. During her presidential run in 2012, she was endorsed by Noam Chomsky and Chris Hedges and received enough votes making her the most successful woman presidential candidate in US history.

Dr. Stein is a Harvard magna cum laude and received her doctorate from Harvard Medical School. Over the years she has been active in Massachusetts campaigns to better protect women and children from toxic pollution that has been associated with earning disabilities. She is also on the national board of directors of the organization Physicians for Social Responsibility favoring a national universal healthcare program and has won awards for her public health efforts in clean water policies and children’s health. In 2003 Jill founded the Massachusetts Coalition for Healthy Communities to support local green economies, grassroots democracy and various health care agendas.
