Expat Files – 10.28.16

#1- Exploring Expat Business Ideas: today we discuss some of the best ways to find beautifully crafted locally made products that you can buy then export, market or sell using Ebay, Amazon or your own website.

#2- Today we have an actual “boots in the ground” example of how I inadvertently found three excellent, locally hand-crafted products for well under $10 dollars each retail:
No doubt they will be a hit with first-world buyers at 4 times that price. These three items are ready as is to be featured on a nice website or on Amazon(you can see them on this show posted my YouTube channel). With boots on the ground you should be able to locate many other excellent local products just ripe for exportation.

#3- AGEXPORT is an exporter’s and businessman’s association located in Guatemala- its somewhat like the Rotary Club but much more:
All Latin countries have similar export organizations that offer many related classes and seminars related to import/export rules regs and procedures. They can provide answers to your own product import/export questions and can supply all the info and contacts you might need in such a business. For example, if you want to export products to the USA or Europe  you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Unfortunately the classes and info are almost always in Spanish.
