Donald Trump’s assault on the environment and ecology
Bill Snape is the Senior Counsel for the Center for Biological Diversity, a national organization dedicated to the preservation of the biodiversity of wildlife and flora hovering on the brink of extinction and the environmental protection of lands, waters and climate necessary for the survival of species. Bill coordinates the Center’s legal and policy work on endangered species, wilderness, and energy from Washington, DC. He did his undergraduate work at the University of California at Los Angeles and received his law degree from George Washington University. He has written numerous articles on natural resource issues, a book Biodiversity and the Law, and has taught environmental and international law. Bill is also a world class swimmer and director of the US Deaf Swimming program and has coached the swim team a Gallaudet University, the only school of higher education devoted to the deaf, and took them to three Northeastern Athletic Conference Championships.
