Dr. Gwynne Dyer is a UK-based Canadian journalist and columnist, author and world renown historian on international affairs. He holds a doctorate in Military and Middle Eastern History from Kings College in London and a past service record in the American, British and Canadian navies.  In the past, he has taught War Studies at the Royal Military Academy in the UK.  Dr. Dyer has been a syndicated columnist  for over 20 years, his writings appearing in over 175 newspapers and magazines in 45 countries.  He has written several important books including “Climate Wars” and his earlier book “War” was the basis for a television series aired on BBC and PBS.  Gwynne’s most recent book is “Growing Pains: The Future of Democracy and Work” which outlines some of the greatest social and political threats in our globalized world that we facing in the future.
