The Art of Creating a Sacred Altar: Celebrating Winter Solstice Traditions with Ritual

Build your very own “Portable Sacred Altar” and turn any environment into a sacred space according to your desire and intent. In this class, you’ll have a chance to build a bridge to source energy, angels, spirit guides, and/or ancestors. In celebration of the Winter Solstice, you will create an altar, based on one of the ancient traditions of the world: Kemet/Africa, Asia, Europe or American Indian. Each have a unique solstice tradition, yet express a common meaning for inner reflection, rebirth and renewal.  Your altar will provide a central location at home, outdoors, or at work for meditation, ritual, and prayer.

Note: A materials fee to be paid to instructor for a sacred altar kit box. Upon registration Indicate desired size of altar box (small or medium) and choice of tradition, (Kemet/Africa; Asia, Europe; American Indian.)
