The normally quiet college town of Charlottesville, Va., is still grappling with the enormity of the events that have put it at front and center of heavy news coverage since Friday.
But as awful as the news out of Charlottesville has been these past few days, it’s a stark reminder to all Americans that in fundamental ways things have not changed at all.
