Kobe Bryant, 8 Others Die in Copter Crash: Investigations continue into what caused a helicopter to crash yesterday morning in a marshy field in Calabasas, Los Angeles, killing all aboard — including NBA phenom Kobe Bryant, 41, and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna.
Also on the copter’s manifest were John Altobelli, head baseball coach at Orange Coast College; his wife Keri; and their daughter Alyssa.
The pilot and three others were not yet identified.
