Dr. Joseph Mercola – Worst Fears Coming True as Drug Resistance Gene Confirmed in the U.S.

Three years ago, Dr. Arjun Srinivasan, associate director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), told PBS FRONTLINE: [1] For a long time, there have been newspaper stories and magazine articles that asked ‘The end of antibiotics?’ Well, now I would say you can change the title to ‘The end of antibiotics, period.’ Indeed, experts have issued …

Sayer Ji – Suboptimal Breastfeeding Kills Over 1 Million Infants A Year

A recent review published in the journal Archives of Disease In Childhood titled, “Marketing breast milk substitutes: problems and perils throughout the world,” revealed a disturbing statistic: Currently, suboptimal breastfeeding is associated with over a million deaths each year and 10% of the global disease burden in children The review also highlighted an embarrassing fact of US history: On 21 …

Infectious Myth – Chris Exley on Aluminium Toxicity – 09.22.15

David talks with Dr. Chris Exley about the toxicity of Aluminum (or Aluminium, as the British call it). This professor of Bioinorganic Chemistry at Keele University in the UK has been studying this metal for his entire scientific career.
Aluminum is a major component of the planet’s crust (along with Silicon and Oxygen) but the modern world has liberated it into forms that can be biologically absorbed either unintentionally (e.g. as a side effect of manufacturing) or intentionally (e.g. because it stops powders from clumping).
Aluminum toxicity has long term chronic health effects that are not fully quantified, but appear to relate to lethargy and also to low sperm counts. Exley, and other researchers in this area, are frustrated because it is almost possible to get government or industry funding. He believes that nobody wants to know the answer because aluminum is so commonly and intentionally used in products such as pharmaceutical drugs, anti-perspirants and cosmetics and also found in tobacco smoke and baby formula. It is even found in breast milk but at levels much lower than in formula.
One of the most controversial uses is in vaccines. This usage is proof that aluminum can be biologically active because it is used to enhance the immune reaction, although nobody knows exactly how. This exposure is often dismissed in an idiotic fashion by noting that babies consume more aluminum even in breastmilk, let alone formula, than is injected in their standard baby vaccines. The problem with this logic is that only a tiny percentage of oral aluminum is absorbed into the bloodstream versus 100% of whatever is injected.
On a more positive note, Dr. Exley notes that drinking mineral water with high silicon (or silica) levels and sweating are good ways to excrete a lot of aluminum. So get out there and exercise, have a sauna afterwards, and rehydrate with a liter of mineral water.

Greens warn: German breast milk unsafe

The Green party made their warning after testing the breast milk of 16 women from a variety of German regions. Traces of glyphosate, a chemical used in weed-killers, amounting to between 0.210 and 0.432 nanograms per mililitre were recorded. In drinking water a quantity of no more than 0.100 nanograms of the substance is allowed. Irene Witte, professor of toxicology …

New Study: Goats Who Eat Monsanto GM Soy Produce Abnormal Milk – Christina Sarich

Monsanto likes to say (with the FDA’s help) that their Round Up Ready GM soy is substantially equivalent to its non-GM counterparts. But a new study proves that GM-fed goat milk is completely abnormal – is human milk next? Is it any wonder that the US has such a high infant mortality rate compared to other ‘civilized’ nations? (Ours is more than twice the …

Fears over Roundup herbicide residues skyrockets private testing – CAREY GILLAM

U.S. consumer groups, scientists and food companies are testing substances ranging from breakfast cereal to breast milk for residues of the world’s most widely used herbicide on rising concerns over its possible links to disease. The focus is on glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup. Testing has increased in the last two years, but scientists say requests spiked after a …

The rise of Big Breast Milk: A boon for healthy babies or exploitative of low-income mothers?

I witnessed the power of breast milk — as a magic health elixir and apparent social lubricant — earlier this month when my friend, while playing with her young son, was approached by a stranger and asked if she was breast-feeding. It went something like this: “Hey, this is a crazy question, but are you breastfeeding?” “I am.” “Can I …

Newly Released: Study Confirms Chronic Kidney Failure 5 Times Higher in Glyphosate-Ridden Areas

The evidence for the abominable toxicity of Round Up chemicals like glyphosate is already overwhelming, yet there seems to be a never-ending stream of research and evidence pointing toward their dangers. A new study has just been published showing that farmers in Sri Lanka exposed to glyphosate through drinking water are 5 times more likely to develop chronic kidney failure than those who don’t …
