Alternative Visions – World Economic Forum Big Bankers Getting Worried – 01.22.16

Jack Rasmus comments on the worried commentary about the global economy today coming out of this week’s World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The annual meeting of the big capitalists globally is producing a stream of concerned remarks on China, global oil, and drift toward deflation—all topics Rasmus focuses on in the release of his new book, ‘Systemic Fragility in the Global Economy’ , by Clarity Press. (see his blog, jackrasmus.com for sample chapters). Jack then reviews on the show important economic events and news of the past week, including Eurozone Chairman, Mario Draghi’s, pledge to expand QE in March, growing problems in European banks’ loans, capital flight from China and emerging markets, the admitting by the US business press that low oil prices are having no effect on the US economy and early reports that fourth quarter US GDP is coming in at only 0.6% growth according to the Fed and there’s a 50-50 chance of US recession this year.

Energy Stew – ReGina Concotelli – 01.22.16

Every year, the Human Design System reveals the unique world-wide themes and characteristics we will have to deal with. There’s much detail and I’ll be talking with ReGina Concotelli, a fellow Human Design Analyst who I often compare notes with.

It’s uncanny how this system can derive so many unique insights through the placement of the planets, the wisdom of the Chinese I’Ching and a chakra template. Most of the time, these charts are used with people’s birth dates and give an accurate rendition of the mechanics of their personalities.

ReGina and I will examine the Human Design chart for this year and it has a lot to say. Every new year, we wait for the chart to show a particular alignment that signifies the start of the Human Design year. This year, the date was January 22nd.

Heart of Mind Radio – 01.22.16

In segment one: the host of Heart Of Mind Radio, Kathryn Davis reads a brief passage from her upcoming book: “Life in the Age of Now, Being from the center of existence! called: Two Dimensional Life in a 3D world.

Reading is followed by a discussion on The Beauty of 3rd Dimensional Life:
“It is only upon moving from the linear scape of flat surface and bare walls into the spiraling landscapes of the natural world, only then, will we fully inhabit our 3rd dimensional reality.”

In segment two: we hear an exert of the following presentation:
Stephen R. Covey on Living a Principle-Centered Life

Recorded in 2008. Dr. Steven Covey, author of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People gives an outstanding address at Montana State University on living a principally-centered life.

He explains how those who live without principles tend to evaluate themselves according to what others think. He also encourages the incoming freshman he is addressing to not cram their studies in order to just get by in college, as that is a bad habit that Covey confesses he had which robbed him of much of the value of his early college education.
